What is G3 Remarketing?
G3 Remarketing is one of the most innovative and dynamic electronic vehicle remarketing companies in the UK established to dispose of vehicles direct from fleet companies, finance houses and dealerships. With over sixty years experience within the automotive industry and a growing database of 15,000 buyers we source the best vehicles from the best suppliers. G3 Remarketing sells thousands of vehicles annually from Alfa's to Zonda's and if you can't find what you are looking for, call our sales team who will source the relevant vehicle. We are that confident of our levels of service that G3 will offer a full refund should any vehicle not be in the condition as described.

What Does it Cost?
Not as much as you might imagine. Subject to your offer being accepted via our online auction, G3 charge a minimal administration fee to handle the sale and process the paper work. All you do is add this buyers fee to your successful bid amount and that's it!

Who Can Buy from G3?
Absolutely anyone! Due to our high volumes the majority of the vehicles we handle are sold directly to retail outlets such as main dealers or car supermarkets however, we welcome interest from the general public and our innovative yet simple bidding system allows anyone to take part in our weekly online auctions after a simple registration process. The only exceptions are the Motability Operations vehicles - as of 1st December 2018 private bidders can no longer purchase Motability vehicles.

Recovery Management Solutions
Providing IT solutions for a select number of Europe's largest vehicle leasing and finance companies, G3 Remarketing has recently launched its Recovery Management Solutions (RMS) platform. Designed to assist companies utilising a number of partners who inspect, debt invoice, collect, refurbish and remarket vehicles, the RMS platform allows registered users to view and interrogate information via a secure and bespoke web interface.

Asset Disposal
Held under instruction received from Liquidators and Insolvency Practitioners, The G3 Group offer a range of onsite and off-site services to dispose of business assets nationwide. Working closely with a broad portfolio of clients, The G3 Group uses its highly adaptable online remarketing platform to sell a multitude of items regardless of value and location.


An expanding company, G3 Remarketing was established by its equal shareholders Amanda Holtby and Matthew Dale. After a combined career within the physical auction industry managing the sale of over 1,000,000 vehicles, the founders felt that the industry was evolving and the demand for more innovative remarketing partners was required. Although physical auctions will remain an integral part of the motor trade, advances in technology and user acceptance now presents a greater opportunity to dispose and purchase vehicles via online auctions. G3 Remarketing was born!

Realising that the ecommerce market was rapidly growing G3 Remarketing felt that the online disposal market lacked detailed information. After a lengthy assessment of the market G3 Remarketing introduced AVID and is the only online disposal company who offers a combined audio and visual description of each vehicle. AVID (patent pending) allows our customers to view comprehensive electronic vehicle appraisals, a full library of detailed images and listen to a specific audio commentary guiding both the vendor and purchaser around each vehicle.

The services offered by G3 Remarketing and The G3 Group provide clients with a window to dispose of vehicles and other assets to both the trade and general public, thus improving residual returns whilst maintaining speed to sale.

Due to the level of experience within the team, The G3 Group will be introducing a number of alternative services both automotive and non-automotive related. It promises to be an exciting time for G3 over the coming 12-months!

Can I purchase a vehicle as I'm not a trade buyer?

Yes you can. G3 Remarketing is open to both trade and the general public and as long as you can provide the required deposit and are able to pay for the vehicle in full within 48 hours you are more than welcome to bid online and inthe hall for most of the vehicles on offer. The only exceptions are the Motability Operations vehicles - as of 1st December 2018 private bidders can no longer purchase Motability vehicles.

How long do I have to pay?

Regardless of value, all purchases have a maximum of 48-hours in which to settle outstanding balances. Payment of the remaining amount must be by BACS or CHAPS transfer only

Can I visit G3 to view the vehicles?

All vehicles with full vehicle descriptions, images and audio files are available to view online as soon as they have been prepared for sale. Due to Health and Safety legislation, vehicles can be viewed but only via prior appointment. All bids must be processed online however our sales team will help you with the simple process if you are unsure on how to use our platform.

Do vehicles come with any warranties?

All vehicles are sold AS SEEN with all faults and imperfections however G3 Remarketing will highlight all areas of visible damage and subject to prior knowledge, will notify potential buyers of any mechanical defects. All buyers must refer to our Standard Terms & Conditions prior to entering the auction.

Manufactures warranties will still be applicable subject to vehicle age and maintenance records. All buyers must contact the manufacturer to satisfy themselves that a warranty exists and is not void.

Extended warranties can be supplied if required via G3's approved warranty partners.

Where do the vehicles come from?

G3 Remarketing acts upon instruction from a range of finance, fleet and dealer operators. We do not own the vehicle but act as agents to manage the disposal on clients behalf.

Is VAT payable on the sale price?

This depends on the vehicle type. Commercial vehicles will usually be subject to VAT. Cars are not subject to VAT and the successful auction price will be the price you pay subject a minimal Buyers Premium. If you are unsure, please ensure you contact our sales team prior to placing a bid.

Is my deposit refundable?

G3 Remarketing will take a deposit prior to accepting a bid on any vehicle. Deposits are fully refundable if you are unsuccessful in the auction i.e. you are out bid however should you make an offer which is successful, the deposit amount will be deducted from your final balance. No refunds will be offered if you decide to withdraw from a successful bid. As soon as a successful bid is accepted, a legally binding contract is entered and failure to complete the transaction could result in action to recover unpaid funds by the owner.

Are all vehicles sold with a Vehicle Registration Document (V5)?

99% of the vehicles will be sold with the appropriate documentation however we may have to sell a vehicle with a V5 'To Follow'. Documents will be applied for by G3 via the DVLA 'Fast Track' system however these can take upto four weeks to arrive from application. Please make yourself aware prior to bidding if a vehicle is sold with the relevant paperwork.

Can you deliver my new vehicle?

Yes, G3 Remarketing can deliver your new purchase anywhere in the UK for a nominal charge usually within 48-hours. Please speak to a member of our sales team to discuss costs.

What charges are applicable when I purchase a vehicle?

Costs for purchasing a vehicle direct from G3 are minimal

Do you offer stocking plans?

Yes.  We work closely with NextGear Captial to offer their stocking plans. Many of our buyers use NexGear Capital funding packages to arrange quick payments and collections for their G3 auction purchases.  For more information on adding NextGear Captial to your G3 account speak to our Business Development Manager Adrian Maclauchlan.
