This has been in development for the past 18 months with a panel of dealers currently having exclusive beta access to the pilot version ahead of a planned release in Q1 of 2023. </p> <p></p> <p>Signal allows dealers of all sizes to access valuations and inspections to support their part-exchange and stock-buying needs. It features both an AI inspection tool for consumers and a tablet-driven appraisal product for dealers to use on their forecourts. </p> <p></p> <p>Lee Coomber, RAC sales agent director at Assurant, said: “We have been working on a series of new partnerships designed to benefit our members and G3 is one of the first that we have been able to announce. As businesses, we are very well aligned and the takeover events planned at Castleford will enable our dealers to access high quality stock at a reduced cost, while access to Signal will provide them with leading-edge technology ahead of the rest of the dealer market.”</p> <p>G3’s co-owner and director, Matt Dale, added: ‘We’re very pleased to be able to forge this deal with the RAC Dealer Network, which is among the recognised leaders in the aftersales sector. The last 18 months we’ve spent a lot of time and money in our infrastructure and building this business but it’s testament to our staff and the fact that we’ve been voted by dealers themselves, it makes it that bit sweeter’</p> <p></p> <p>Nick continued to say: ‘We’ve tried to create a unique experience for both vendor and buyer. We have the latest technology so our buyers can have everything at their fingertips, and we have a really pleasant place for people to come to.’</p> <p></p> <p>We also caught up with staff on the night to find out how they felt about picking up this honour. Front of House Assistant, Molly Reather said ‘It feels like you are part of something quite special. Rob adds a depth of financial services knowledge alongside a wealth of experience in worldwide mergers and acquisitions. </p> <p></p> <p>Also joining the newly formed board are two internal promotions. Firstly, Nick Thompson has been elevated to Sales Director of the back of an initial 12-months at G3 as Divisional Director. Based near Wetherby, West Yorkshire, it relies almost entirely on voluntary donations to fund the £9 million it needs every year to support families. AvailableCar have supported Martin House as their chosen charity for their Leeds superstore since it opened in 2016, having raised over £115,000 to date through donations and fundraising events. </p> <p></p> <p>Becky Beevers, Martin House Partnerships Manager, said: “We’re so grateful to AvailableCar and G3 for continuing to support us in these challenging times. The WAV and LCV centre is ideally located at Junction 30 of the M62, less than 10 miles from their new auction facility at Junction 32 of the M62.</p> <p>The new G3 Leeds marketplace will hold the opening sale on Friday 12<sup>th</sup> February at 10am, with over 150 WAV’s to be offered from the Motability scheme fleet by Motability Operations, alongside a selection of LCV’s. </p> <p>G3 has worked closely with Motability Operations since 2017 to offer their vehicles through weekly Monday sale events and built an established national buyer network for their popular fleet stock. A limited guestlist for the first sale event was issued, but the national lockdown instruction led to a last-minute switch to an online-only sale, streamed live from their new auction facility.</p> <p>All opening sale events were delivered as online-only auctions, with over 1,000 vehicles sold in the first 4 sales through the new centre.</p> <p>With big new vendors added to the roster for the launch week including Zenith, Hitachi Capital, Liquid Fleet, Tesla, and Blue Motor Finance, alongside established partners like Motability Operations, Marshall Leasing and AvailableCar, the multi-lane auction centre will see G3 offering more vehicles than ever. </p> <p>With the capacity for over 50,000 vehicles a year, G3 have invested over £12m in a facility which will support the requirements of both physical and online remarketing solutions long into the future.</p> <p>The new 14-acre site features stadium-standard LED screens across the site, linked to a newly launched multi-lane bidding platform to create a unique and interactive auction experience for both buyers and vendors alike. </p> <p>Positioned in the A1, M1, M62 triangle, the strategic location in the geographical centre of the country enables G3 to provide national coverage to support their growing roster of vendors and is underpinned by an unrivalled network of 35 drop-off hubs positioned across the UK.</p> <p>Amanda Holtby, Co-owner and director said; “It was so close, yet so far! Powered by our market-leading digital solution and combined with the introduction of a contactless ‘Click & Collect’ appointment system, we have created an effective solution to run an online-only vehicle marketplace to support our customer’s needs in these uncharted times.</p> <p>Since reopening in the Spring, we took the decision to protect our team and the local community by limiting the number of visitors on-site, with only pre-booked vehicle collections permitted to visit and handed over safely at our collection compound. We have continued to operate online-only and restricted all buyers from accessing the site which we feel remains to be the right decision.</p> <p>I can confirm that these strict limitations will be sustained throughout November, with new appointment times evenly distributing across the hours that the G3 collection compound is manned. </p> <p>Our current calendar of sale events will remain as scheduled as Monday, Tuesday and Thursday E-Sales until further notice.
