11 Sep G3 Signs 5-Year 50,000 Vehicle Disposal Agreement with AvailableCar
Award-winning car supermarket AvailableCar has announced a substantial 5-year disposal agreement with independent vehicle auction G3 Vehicle Auctions. The agreement will see up to 50,000 AvailableCar vehicles disposed of through G3’s online and physical auctions over the duration of the agreement.
AvailableCar are the first headline vendor to signal their long-term intent to remarket their vehicles via G3’s new £12m auction centre, a 14-acre site opening in January 2021.
The partnership began in 2016 when AvailableCar joined G3’s growing vendor portfolio to establish dedicated timeslots in their weekly Tuesday and Thursday sales. Vehicle volumes have grown significantly for both businesses since, with AvailableCar’s turnover recently placing them as the 3rd largest independent dealer group in the country.
Celebrating the new contract win, G3’s Joint Managing Director Matt Dale said: “This is a significant agreement for our business. Not only does it further cement our position as the go-to remarketing channel for this product type, but also the commitment to a 5-year contract is a testament to the hard work of our team and the developments we have made from both a service and technology perspective. The relationship has flourished over the past four years with G3 developing a strong buyer base for this profile of stock.”
“2020 has been an exceptionally important year for G3 Remarketing as we began construction of our new 14-acre purpose-built auction centre, significantly expanding our capacity. Securing this agreement with a leading brand like AvailableCar has been pivotal in supporting our exciting plans for the future and their profile of stock complements our existing profile of vendors.”
AvailableCar’s CEO Michael Bell added: “We have worked very closely with G3 over the last four years. Their service levels and proactive approach makes the relationship work efficiently, whilst the sale performance and their similar business values mean our operations are uniquely aligned. This agreement will provide both companies with a platform to continue to grow and we are delighted to commit to the partnership for a further 5 year. We look forward to joining G3 as they migrate to their impressive new auction centre.”
Established in 2001, AvailableCar is one of the largest independent dealer groups in the UK with 4 supermarkets locations and over 5000 cars on offer.
